After the Tamburini series (916 etc.), the Ducati 1098 series is one of the most successful Ducati superbikes. This motorcycle is motorsport through and through. Unfortunately, the original motorcycle even in the S variant, whether 1098, 1198 or 848, comes with a somewhat boring plastic cover. With our covers, you give the machine the deserved racing look like the R models!
The AutoVM Composites carbon covers are mounted like the original Ducati© covers. The original ventilation filter can also be screwed into the large cover with the 2 screws.
Our carbon fiber parts are manufactured in an autoclave. This technology is also used in Formula 1 to achieve the best possible quality.
The parts are then provided with a UV-protective clear coat.
Carbon fiber has the advantage that it is very stiff despite its extremely low weight.

-All carbon fiber (i.e. not laminated to ABS or with GRP or similar interlayers)

-UV sealed with a special scratch and stone chip resistant clear coat

Our carbon fiber parts behave similarly to ordinary body parts. Scratches etc. can usually be polished out very easily.
However, caution is advised not to damage the protective clear coat too deeply.
